The Vagina Monologues
I've been super busy since September at University studying for my Masters Degree which hasn't left me with much spare time for gigs and collaborations. I've been wary of taking things on whilst I've had lots of research to undertake and two rather big essays to write but... I've recently agreed to take part in The Vagina Monologues on Feb 24th at Unity Theatre.
The performance is part of the global V-DAY Liverpool movement to stop violence against women and girls and proceeds benefit local organisations who work to end violence against women. How could turn down the chance to help raise money for such a poignant and worthy cause? The show will be performed by a cast of community members as well as the odd actor and promises to be a hilarious journey through the forbidden zone (please note that this performance contains some sensitive stories and language).
Tickets are £8 (£5 concessions ) & can be purchased here:https://www.unitytheatreliverpool.co.uk/whats-on/vagina-monologues.html
